Say "NO" to Middleton Lodge New Quarry

Public meetings in the villages most likely to be affected by the possible new quarry at Middleton Lodge, namely Barton and Middleton Tyas empowered their respective Residents' Associations to OBJECT to the proposed quarry. Objections/comments have been formulated in respect of the planning applications.

North Yorkshire County Council documentation (see the planning application) of October 2007 lists Middleton Lodge Quarry as Discounted. Results of the Planning Committee's final decision is awaited.
